Auto configuration of drive alerts fails to work in SANtricity System Manager

  • All models running SANtricity 11.70.2 and similar firmware versions

Issue

After replacing the failed drives, the following alert continued to appear in SANtricity System Manager Cannot Auto configure Drives.

  • SANtricity System Manager reported all other components as Optimal.
  • The affected drives were displayed in an Unassigned state.
