New setup of disaggregated storage fails from missing drives

Issue

  • During initialization steps of a disaggregated cluster, the second node in the setup steps sees a foreign aggr:
[raid.foreign.failed.error]:  Disk "0n.x" has failed as the uuid on the RAID label "label" does not match with the stamped uuid "uuid"
  • Drives may be stated as missing when booting into LOADER:
Device 22/0/0 (SSDx) missing
Device 23/0/0 (SSDx) missing
  • A message about a PCIe switch being "not available" may be seen:
[ses.status.ModuleError:ALERT]: NS224NSM16E (S/N xxxxxxxxxxxx) shelf 0 on channel 0s PCI switch error for PCI Switch 1: status not available; status not available. This element is on the rear of the shelf at the top, on shelf module (A).
