ASAR2 cluster initialization fails with HA partner configuration error

Issue

  • Initializing an existing ASAR2 cluster fails with the following error:
    Error: The cluster has already been created by the HA partner node. Another cluster cannot be created.
  • Boot menu Option (9) clean system configuration displays:
   bootarg.bootmenu.selection is ||
   Boot menu option 9 or 9a is not supported on this platform.
   Contact technical support for further assistance.
