SnapCenter fails to add SCV where the SnapCenter host has multiple NICs

  • SnapCenter Server (SC) all versions
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) all versions
  • NetApp Data Broker (NDB) all versions

Issue

When trying to add SCV/NDB host in SC, it fails with the error seen in the UI:
Unable to connect to the SnapCenter Server <IP_address> Connection timed out (Connection timed out)
