SnapCenter Plug-Ins fail to start with error "Cannot start service SCWPluginService on computer"

Issue

  • After plug-in, the host server is rebooted.
  • SnapCenter plug-in is running on the host, but shows as stopped in SnapCenter GUI.
  • Restart of plug-in reports the following error:

2020-04-26T16:35:01.3689840-05:00 ERROR SnapManagerWeb PID=[3012] TID=[9] <log4net.Error>Exception during StringFormat: Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size of the argument list. <format>Failed to restart service {0} on host {1}.
