SMBR failed to mount snapshot with error "Command Mount-SdSnapshot failed"

Issue

  • In the Backup Selection of the SMBR process the mount fails with the error:
    Command Mount-SdSnapshot failed
  • A manual mount of the snapshot using PowerShell fails with the same error
