SC operations fail due to SVM timeout

Issue

  • A SnapCenter plugin operation, such as backup or clone, fails with an error indicating the connection to the storage controller timed out.
  • The error is logged in the SnapCenter SMCore/SAL or SnpDrvDbg logs:
Connection to svm_name.domain.com on port 443 for protocol HTTPS timed out.
