SC Oracle back ups fail with "Archived log files are not available in the backup"

Issue

After upgrading SnapCenter and SCO Plug-ins to 6.0 and later, Oracle back ups start failing with the following errors seen:
 
  • SnapCenter UI

Activity (Discovering Oracle Database Files) Failed with error:  Discovery failed for object <Database_Name> with error PL-SCO-20006: Discovery of database files failed for database <Database_Name> on host <Oracle_Host> with error SCO-LOG-1023: Archived log files are not available in the backup.

 
  • SPL_<JobID_Date_Time>.log
