SCV scheduled backups running an hour late after NTP clock change

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware (SCV) 4.1.1 and higher
  • Netapp Data Broker (NDB)

Issue

  • Happens after Spring/Autumn clock change
  • Monitor tab in SCV GUI shows scheduled backups starting and completing 1 hour later than the schedule
  • On demand backups show the correct time
  • vCenter host shows the correct time
  • Backups complete with no error
