SCV resource groups no longer visible in vSphere after OVA migration

  • SnapCenter Server 4.3.1Px

Issue

  • Resource groups are no longer visible in vSphere after migration attempt to NDB/SCV appliance
  • Attempting to migrate the SCV 4.1.1 data to the IP address of the newly installed VMware Plug-in from OVA fails with:
    ErrorCode (-1), ErrorMessage (Upgrade is not supported to the selected destination release. You can only upgrade to the most recent SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere release.)
