SCV does not delete old backup Snapshot(s) due to "No backups found"

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV)
  • Retention settings of the associated policy is Days to keep N

Issue

  • SCV backup completes without error but the old backup Snapshot created N days ago is not deleted
  • Job-<JOB_ID>.log reports No backups found with the "Cut-off date & time" information
