Brocade switch security setting prevents OnCommand Insight(OCI) performance data collection

Issue

  • Attempting to poll for performance data for the Brocade switch datasource within OCI fails
  • The customer has 2 switches in 1 Fabric where 1 switch is retrieving performance data, however, the other is not.
  • Only a inventory works within OCI.
  • SNMPwalk returned with a error:

Host=SWITCH_BOT_1_11.eu.netapp.net:161

Timeout=1000ms Retries=1 Debug=false

Version=SNMPv2 Community=HAXX4A & sessionName=null_0

Variable = 0.0 Type = INT32

Value = NULL End of MIB Reached Total # of Requests = 1 Total # of Objects = 1
