Why is an ONTAP cluster missing from the Unified Manager web interface?
Applies to
- Active IQ Unified Manager
- OnCommand Unified Manager
Answer
- Before considering the cluster as missing from the interface, check the cluster setup page to confirm it was added as a data source. The cluster must have been successfully added previously and exist as a data source in order for the cluster objects to show up in the web UI.
- If the cluster in question is displayed on the cluster setup page but there are cluster objects missing from the UI, check the "Operation State" field to make sure health polling is successful. The cluster data source must have collected successfully for cluster objects to be updated, or for new objects to be discovered.
If the cluster data source is showing successful health inventory polls but objects are still missing from the UI, contact NetApp Support for further assistance.
