New alerts not generating in UM although cluster acquisition works fine

Applies to

  • Active IQ Unified Manager (UM) 9.6+
  • OnCommand Unified Manager (UM)9.5 and below

Issue

  • New alerts are not being generated by UM (for eg: volume nearly full as the utilization goes above 80% global threshold)
  • Acquisition is working fine and last refresh time is showing as current under storage->clusters page
