StorageGRID reports Appliance LACP port missing or down

Issue

  • One or more LACP ports are reported as missing or down on the StorageGRID node
  • ActorChurnState and PartnerChurnState showed as “churned” for HIC2 in /proc/net/bonding/bond0
  • Example log snippet:

  • We can also check syslog/kern.log in the BaseOS if the port is churned to see why it went to that state.
  • Replaced SFP/cable on affected port.
  • Alert persist , even after rebooting the node.
