StorageGRID SNMP traps not received due to port blocking

Issue

  • Customer has added two new trap destination but not receiving the traps .
  • Customer configured traps on Ports 1162 and 1163 (UDP)
  • SSH into the Primary Admin node and run the following command to confirm SNMP traps are being sending successfully. 

    tail -f /var/local/log/sg-snmp-agent.log
     
    Example of Successful SNMP Trap is sent from Admin node:
     
    [2023-02-24T21:14:07.004]    INFO -- Sending SNMP v2c trap to <IP_ADDRESS>
    [2023-02-24T21:14:07.386]    INFO -- Sending alert notifications for.16.99.48.53.55.53.101.49.51.99.52.97.99.51.102.53.55, startsAt 2023-02-24T21:13:16.841Z
