Issue

  • Application job on the client end is failing to read the objects from the StorageGRID bucket with "HTTP Status Code=500 ErrorMsg=InternalError".
  • Application reports Error Code: 403 Forbidden error while running Spark Application job and reading data from bucket:

Caused by: com.amazonaws.services.s3.model.AmazonS3Exception: Forbidden (Service: Amazon S3; Status Code: 403; Error Code: 403 Forbidden; Request ID:<Request ID>; S3 Extended Request ID: 12826722; Proxy: null), S3 Extended Request ID: 12826722

  • The error message reported by StorageGRID in bycast.log in the log bundle or under /var/local/log directory.
