Issue

Performance degradation after applying lifecycle configuration to bucket:
  • Alerts of High latency for metadata queries emerge
  • High CPU utilization and CPU IO wait are seen on Support > Diagnostics page
  • S3 Ingest and Retrieve rate (Support > Metrics > Grafana > Grid) decrease

Performance degradation after applying lifecycle configuration to bucket

  • Average Request Duration (Support > Metrics > Grafana > Grid) increase significantly

High latency for metadata queries emerge

  • ILM delete queues (Support > Metrics > Grafana > ILM) are full (increase and stay at 150 K after the change)
