StorageGRID node does not come online after Grid Network IP change and VLAN change

Issue

  • When attempting to update both the Grid Network IP and VLAN at the same time the node does not come back online.
    • Staged change-ip address updates from SG are not fully propagating to PGE causing the node to come up in maintenance mode with the old address and routes.
    • This may result in some address changes leaving the node in a state where the customer can't connect to it over the network in maintenance mode.
    • If in this state we will need to have a serial connection the node. 
  • Confirmed even after the change of the network configuration the node can still talk to the nodes on the previous network.
