Answer

  • Yes, MFA can be enabled on StorageGRID via Single sign-on (SSO) functionality. 
  • Once enabled, SSO can be extended at the identity provider (IdP) to enforce various forms of multi-factor authentication including biometric authentication, or access via and RSA token or similar encryption device.
  • StorageGRID supports the following SSO identity providers (IdP):
    • Active Directory Federation Service (AD FS)
    • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
    • PingFederate
