StorageGRID returns HTTP 503 for S3 HEAD/GET request right after updating object

  • StorageGRID
  • Consistency level of S3 tenant is read-after-new-write
  • Object is modified (deleted, overwritten, updated)

Issue

  • S3 HEAD/GET request for object which is updated returns HTTP 503
  • bycast.log shows HTTP 503 and "object temporarily unavailable as it may have been modified"
