Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV)
  • Migrating from vCenter Server on Windows to vCenter Server Appliance

Answer

  • Stop old SCV appliance
  • Deploy new SCV appliance after vCenter migration
  • Configure initial settings, such as resource groups

Note:

SCV does not support configuration inheritance when migrating vCenter.
