Issue

  • Verification job fails to clone the NFS datastore with the error seen during clone creation stage:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16" standalone="yes"?><SmCreateCloneResponse><Result><_message>Failed to Mount/Attach Disk:- com.vmware.esx.hostctl.default:Operation failed, diagnostics report: Mount failed: Unable to complete Sysinfo operation.  Please see the VMkernel log file for more details.: The NFS server denied the mount request</_message><_errorCode>-1</_errorCode></Result><TotalCount>0</TotalCount><DisplayCount>0</DisplayCount></SmCreateCloneResponse>

  • The export policy on the volume is correct.
  • The ESX hosts have access to the SVM NFS LIF.
