Unable to upgrade the SQL host to SnapCenter 6.1 Plug-in

Issue

  • When upgrading the host SQL servers to the new 6.1, the process fails immediately and does not create a Job in the Monitor.
  • An error in the \Program Files\NetApp\SnapCenter WebApp\App_Data\log\SnapManagerWeb.log file may show:

 ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80090331): The client and server cannot communicate, because they do not possess a common algorithm.
