Issue

  • Too many secondary snapshots are showing in Configure - Backups when accessing the VM or datastore.
  • No errors are seen and the built-in Cleanup secondary backup job runs successfully at 0359 on Sunday mornings. For example:

[INF] VolumeName:<volume_name> StorageName:<SVM_FQDN>, BackupId:xxxxx
[INF] VolumeName:<volume_name> StorageName:<SVM_FQDN>, BackupId:xxxxx
[INF] Objects added to delete 125
