  • SnapCenter 
  • A large number of hosts registered to SnapCenter
  • Most of the registered hosts are down or their SnapCenter SMCore Services are not running

Issue

  • TCP ephemeral port exhaustion is observed on SnapCenter server host
  • TCP communication failures are caused by the TCP ephemeral port exhaustion
