SnapCenter fails to discover Exchange resources but finds the disks

Issue

  • SC fails to discover Exchange resources
  • The disks are seen in the Disks view in SC GUI but no databases are in the Resources - Database screen
  • Error seen in <installation_path>\NetApp\SnapCenter\App_Data\log\SnapManagerWeb_<id>.log:
    ERROR SnapManagerWeb_297 PID=[9400] TID=[209] System.Exception: Unable to find the instance (DAG_FQDN)
    DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_297 PID=[9400] TID=[209] Unable to find the instance (DAG_FQDN)
    ERROR SnapManagerWeb_297 PID=[9400] TID=[209] Exception in method: DiscoverHostResourcesInternal.
    System.Exception: Unable to find the instance (DAG_FQDN)
  • DNS is configured correctly and SVM connections are correct
