Issue

  • SnapCenter being inaccessible due to high resource utilization with below  error accessing Snapcenter GUI:
    • HTTP Error 500.30 - ASP.net Core failed to start
  • Windows Event Logs reports low virtual memory condition with below windows event:

Description:
Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: w3wp.exe (8560) consumed 6813084462 bytes, mysqld.exe (3844) consumed 6006525952 bytes, and SMCoreServiceHost.exe (5308) consumed 1197309952 bytes.

 

  • Also, we observed that lot of backups in this case 80 backups, were being triggered at a specific time, causing a significant increase in resource utilization on the SnapCenter server during this period.
