Scheduled SnapCenter jobs are not running as per their schedules. No scheduled backup jobs have executed for several hours, while manually triggered jobs complete successfully.

  • In SnapCenter UI, scheduled jobs remain in “Queued” or do not start at all.
  • Manual execution of the same jobs is successful.
  • SnapCenter repository database (Quartz) shows many triggers in an ERROR state.
  • Example MySQL error when attempting to update trigger state:
ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 2: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1
  • SnapCenter Scheduler logs may indicate blocked or delayed jobs
