SnapCenter SQL Verification Fails with FILESTREAM feature is disabled

Issue

  • When running SnapCenter backup jobs with verification enabled, the SQL verification step fails on the target verification server when mounting the file system clone.
  • The following error can be found in the SnapCenter SMCore logs:     
2026-04-29T02:00:43.1453202-04:00 ERROR SMCore_17417 PID=[4928] TID=[75] ErrorCode(-1), ErrorMessage(FILESTREAM feature is disabled.
A file activation error occurred. The physical filename 'C:\\scmnpt\\mpdisk0206\\SQLData\\db_name' may be incorrect. Diagnose and correct additional errors, and retry the operation.
Could not open new database '__Verification__3afd2432-3813-4486-b552-8a75641a9dec'. CREATE DATABASE is aborted.)
