SnapCenter SCSQL Error: Backup succeeded but verification failed

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server (SCSQL)
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV)

Issue

On SnapCenter job notified warning :

  • "Status: Warning Error: Backup succeeded butverification failed."

Other errors that can be seen in the logs :
  • Activity 'FileSystem Clone' failed with error: An error occured while cloning RDM based disk.

  • Failed to rescan HBA: Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password.

  • Error: Failed to map virtual disk on Esx host after retrying. An error occured while cloning RDM based disk.

The SQL servers are hosted with vCenter.
