SCW/SCSQL plug-in upgrade gets stuck

Issue

  • When upgrading plug-in via Hosts screen in SnapCenter GUI, Overall Status of plug-in host remains Installing plug-in even after several hours have passed
  • Application event log in SnapCenter Server host reports MySQL message:

Information, Application: MySQL, Event-ID: 100, "Aborted connection 69 to db: 'nsm' user: 'root' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://www.mysql.com."

  • No error is seen in logs in plug-in host
