  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV)
  • NFS datastores exported with export-policy rule to allow version 3 only.
  • NetApp Plug-in for VMware vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) 1.1.2-3 configured in the vCenter environment.
  • ONTAP 9

Issue

Restore virtual machine (VM) succeeds but vSphere fails to power on the restored VM due to missing flat files for the Virtual Machine Disk (VMDK).
