Issue

  • Snapshot creation succeeds but SnapMirror Update/SnapVault Update job fails with error:

Unable to find Snapshot (<SNAPSHOT>) on volume (<VOLUME>) from storage (<SVM>). Failed to attach the label to the specified Snapshot copy.(<SNAPSHOT>)
Invalid response returned by Set-NcSnapshot: 0

  • EMS log reports message:

Deleting Snapshot copy '<SNAPSHOT>' in volume '<VOLUME>' to recover storage.

  • The snapshot does not exist in the volume after the backup job is complete.
