Issue

  • Job Details of SCV shows error:

"ErrorMessage (Unable to find SnapMirror destination(s). Error: No SnapMirror relationships were found. Resolution: Please make sure that secondary storage systems are registered and host can resolve them correctly.)
ErrorMessage (Unable to find SnapMirror destination for the source volume(s) <source_path>' <source_path>"

  • Performing SnapMirror update of the relationship via ONTAP System Manager or CLI is successful
  • Forward and reverse DNS lookups resolve successfully to the correct source and destination SVMs
  • Pings to the source and destination hostnames and IP addresses are successful
