  • SCV resource group including vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA)

Issue

  • Quiescing Applications activity in SCV backup job fails with error:

Error: Unable to quiesce on SCV: Exception occurred when quiescing virtual machines: <vCSA>.Please check 'Create virtual machine snapshot' task on vSphere Web Client or SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere logs for detailed error message.

  • vmware.log of the vCSA shows errors:

The error code was: 2
The error message was: Custom quiesce script failed.
