SnapCenter Plug-In for VMWare (SCV) 4.3P1 to 6.0

Issue

  • Backup jobs stop working after SnapCenter upgrade from version 4.9 directly to 6.0
  • Error message displayed on the Resource Group page of SnapCenter UI:
These are possible reasons for this error:
1) All the Datastores and VMDK files used by VM are not on supported storage.
2) All NetApp Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs) related to Datastore or VM are not registered within SnapCenter and/or SCV.
  • Resource Group operation failed:

Run Resource Group operation failed for Resouce Group XXXXXXXX. (Error: Unable to discover resources on SCV: Unable to get storage details for datastore XXXXX with managed object reference XXXXX. Storage system(s) may need to be added, also ensure that the associated host is in a connected state.)
