SCSQL - Orphaned clone cannot be removed using -Force switch

Issue

  • A cloned database has been removed from Microsoft SQL Management Studio. 
  • The clone is still present in SnapCenter repository (MySQL 'nsm' database).   
  • When attempts to remove the clone with the 'Remove-SmClone' command while using the '-Force' switch fail with the following error message:
The SMSQL plug-in required for this operation to proceed is not installed on the host
