SCO: delete clone fails out after 25 minutes and is kept "Running"

Issue

When attempting to delete an Oracle clone from the GUI (or otherwise), the process doesn't appear to stop.

The main web process (Job Updates), fails with the following error messages:

ERROR SnapManagerWeb_<JOB_ID> PID=[4140] TID=[292] WebException caught while invoking https://localhost:8145/SMCoreCloneService/DeleteClone

ERROR SnapManagerWeb_<JOB_ID> PID=[4140] TID=[292] WebException Encountered, Response null

ERROR SnapManagerWeb_<JOB_ID> PID=[4140] TID=[292] Exception in method: InvokeXML.

System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

   at System.Net.Sockets.NetworkStream.Read(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size)

Note: localhost:8145 is the SMCore running on the SnapCenter Server, and that Job log ends with:
