Description

This article describes how to run the snapcenter report generator tool and collect snapcenter basic report.

The following are two options to choose from:

  • Only collect basic details about the Snapserver
    • Operating system details
    • Snapcenter server version
    • Snapcenter service status
    • Snapcenter server windows application and system event logs for last 10 days of source snapcenter

                          

  • Collect basic details of both snapcenter server and snapcenter plugin server which is having an issue:
    • Along with the above snapcenter server details
    • Snapcenter plugin server Operating system details
    • Snapcenter plugin server version
    • Snapcenter plugin server service status
    • Resolve DNS name and IP address of the Snapcenter plugin server
    • Snapcenter application specific port staus between snapcenter and plugin server
