Issue

SCE backups fail to create snapshots.  The following errors are reported 

  • SCE Backup Log
    • Failed to add to snapshot set. [VSS_E_UNEXPECTED_PROVIDER_ERROR]
  • Windows System Event Log
    • The Data ONTAP VSS Hardware Provider service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
