Issue

  • Two emails are sent for each job with SC 6.x.
  • Entries are logged in <installation_path>\NetApp\SnapCenter\App_Data\log\SnapManagerWeb_<id>.log:

INFO SnapManagerWeb_922839 PID=[7280] TID=[46] Email subject for job [922839]: RGName - Backup [Completed] for Resource Group [ResourceGroup] with Policy [Policy] on primary
INFO SnapManagerWeb_922839 PID=[7280] TID=[46] Sending job [922839] email to [EmailAddress]
INFO SnapManagerWeb_922839 PID=[7280] TID=[103] Email subject for job [922839]: RGName - Backup [Completed] for Resource Group [ResourceGroup] with Policy [Policy] on primary

  • The KB source shows the resource group name as RG_Name rather than RGName in the email subject.
