Issue

  • SnapCenter cannot create SQL Agent–based backup schedules for a SQL FCI. When the cluster group owner for “Cluster Name” differs from the SQL FCI owner, modifying the resource groups fails with
    "Failed to update resource group: The transaction has aborted”.


  • When all resources share the same owner node, the SnapCenter GUI shows no error but SQL Agent job tasks are still not created. SnapCenter logs report “Failed to online SQL Server Agent on FCI. FCI instance not found.”
