Answer

In OTV10.2, the terminology for node interconnects has been updated from previous versions.
For single-node deployments, three IP addresses are required:
  • One IP address for the load balancer.
  • One IP address for the Virtual IP for K8s control plane.
  • One IP address for the Node.
Currently, the documentation is written for OTV 10.1 and OTV 10.2 was released with different terminology for each of the entries above as seen here in the installation:
  • ONTAP Tools IP Address  is currently documented in docs as Load Balancer IP aka: OTV manager UI IP
  • Node Interconnect IP address   is currently documented in docs as Virtual IP for K8s control plane
  • IPv4 address (OTV appliance IP) remains the same.
