ONTAP tools IP address (formally Load Balancer)

This is the external IP address of the load balancer used to access the System Configuration Menu options in OTV at https://otv-ip:8443/virtualization/ui. It is also used for sending Application Programming Interface (API) calls and accessing the OTV plugin tool via the vCenter GUI.

ONTAP tools virtual IP address (formally Node Interconnect)

This address is assigned to the Kubernetes Application Programming Interface (kube-api) server for use in single- or multi-node setups. It functions as the virtual IP address for the Kubernetes control plane, which is the component that manages and orchestrates the Kubernetes infrastructure within the ONTAP environment. Essentially, it acts as the central point of control for deploying, managing, and updating Kubernetes clusters within a VMware vSphere environment using ONTAP storage. This IP enables communication and management of the Kubernetes cluster within the ONTAP Tools environment.

IPv4 Address

This is the single-node IP address that is mapped to the given host name when a single-node cluster is deployed. When a HA cluster is being deployed, there will be additional IPv4 fields to complete.
