Virtual Storage Console (VSC): Can't start services after deploying OVA template from Host Client

Issue

After deploying VSC through an ESXi Host Client, you cannot start any VSC services or perform any VSC tasks.

When you attempt to start a service from the VSC Maintenance Console, you see a message similar to the one below:

job for vscserver.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status vscserver.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
Command failed.
