Issue

  • The ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) Plugin shows the Cluster storage system with the status of 'Client Certificate Expired' under status.
  • In the red section seen in the screenshot below, the message will include the following example:
    • Http failure response for https://<vcenterhostname/plugins/com.netapp.vsch5-9.13.0.38237--1380088045/<vcenterIP>-8443/rest/services/storage-systems/settings?renewClientCertificate=true&locale=en-US&vCenterUuid=<vCenterUIID>=Unknown%20-%20<vCenterIP>: 500 OK

  • When clicking on the Summary tab, the message "Could not retrieve Certificate from Keystore" is seen:
