Issue

  • After deploying a new instance of ONTAP tools for VMware (OTV), the following messages are displayed:

No ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere IP address supplied, defaulting to local host. Successfully read from OVF.

The vscserver application was unable to complete registration. Specified attributes may be invalid.

!!! NOT STARTING APPLICATION SERVERS DUE TO CONFIG ERRORS !!!

rbash: /opt/netapp/vscserver/log/maint-audit.log: Permission denied
