ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere: Server error registering with vCenter

ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) 9.11

Issue

When attempting to register OTV with vSphere on the https://<OTV IP>:8143/Register.html page, the attempt fails with the message Server Error.

In the OTV log bundle, the nvpf.log file records the following error:

[ERROR] com.netapp.nvpf.api.model.ApiException: NVPF-00004: vCenterUserName administrator@vsphere.local and the vCenterPassword specified for the vCenter server are not valid.  Enter a different vCenter server username and/or vCenter server password.
com.netapp.nvpf.api.model.ApiException: com.netapp.nvpf.api.model.ApiException: NVPF-00004: vCenterUserName administrator@vsphere.local and the vCenterPassword specified for the vCenter server are not valid.  Enter a different vCenter server username and/or vCenter server password.
