Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) 9.12 - 9.13P1
  • Certificate Authority signed certificates

Description

When using CA signed certificates for ONTAP clusters, you will need to import the certificate chain into OTV's various keystores (JDK12, JDK11, OTV) if you wish to add these clusters to OTV.

If you do not want to implement CA signed certificates to OTV but still want OTV to discover storage from clusters that use CA signed certificates then you will need to follow this procedure.
